the studio.
I'm a wife and mum to two little girls who are the heart behind this business – and the reason I stepped away from my 15-year career as an NHS midwife to build something of my own.
Named for my girls.
Even the name of my business was inspired by them: Violet is my youngest's middle name, and Hummingbird is a tribute to my eldest, whose heart condition makes it beat just a little faster – like a hummingbird's wings.
I've always loved gardening and crafting, but more than anything, I love making people feel special. I get such joy from the little touches – the personal details that make moments magical. I'm a bit of a perfectionist (just ask my husband – I'm never without a project or two, including some for him!).
Creativity and attention to detail are at the heart of everything I do. I want your celebration to look beautiful and feel unforgettable – from the décor and personalisation to the way the activities are tailored to your guests. It's all about creating lasting memories in the most thoughtful, stress-free way.
